Washable TENA underwear is as hygienic as any other properly cared-for clothing. Normal washing ensures they stay fully fresh and hygienic.
They can be machine-washed with a regular 40°C washing cycle. Use detergent and wash them alongside garments of similar colours. We suggest hanging up for drying rather than using the tumble dryer.
